HEA series steel profiles represent a wide range of rod-shaped structural members with a parallel inner surface of flanges and dimensions according to EN 10365. Product tolerances are defined by EN 10034: 1993.
HEA series steel profiles can be combined with stainless steel beam, then welded or bolted or manufactured hot, then hot rolled or extruded. The lower and upper horizontal part of the beam is called a flange, and the middle part of the connection is called the mesh. The most common version in this product line is the HEB series and then the HEA series.
Wide flanged stainless steel beams are used not only in trade and industry, but also in machinery and equipment construction. The use of stainless steel profiles is characterized by a high composition flexibility and a fast and low cost structure (with the possibility of prefabrication in steel production). Stainless steel profiles are mostly made of scrap and can be recycled after use, so that new sources can be preserved.
Austenitic grades according to EN 10088-3: 1D are mainly used for stainless steel structures: 1.4301 (304), 1.4307 (304L), 1.4401 (316), 1.4404 (316L) and 1.4571.
